Every recipe, specifically developed with unique characteristics and flavour profiles, created with absolute dedication, utilizes the most modern distillation apparatus, with special configurations for our work known as “Nihilej Poetic Spirits.”

The expressiveness of the shades/colours of our signature cocktails, truly initiates poetic apparitions manifested in the everyday reality, most akin to the melodiousness of tones attempting to resolve every "unresolved matter" between revived passions, blessed contradictions, memories of the unoccurred, and all the mysticism recognized
by its own creation. The revitalization of cocktail "forms" is owed to the phantasmagoria of flavour creation that speaks through the enjoyer, completely merging with them, sharing the sensuality of GIN habits and the cry: “C’est la vie”As you toast with tropical, fruity, more graceful and fresh cocktails, do not forget that
the theatricality of absolute pleasure testifies deeply to You and Your refinement.

Mangata Blue In Green

INGREDIENTS
– 55 ml Nihilej Mangata Gin
– 100 ml Porter Beer
– 15 ml Blue Curaçao Liqueur

GARNISH
- Pink Peppercorns
- Cinnamon Stick
- Lemon Slice/Peel (optional)

PREPARATION
- Take a glass and dip its rim in a little water, then into a mixture of grated chocolate and coarse salt.
- Pour Nihilej Mangata Gin and Curaçao liqueur into the glass over ice.
- Slowly top with cold porter beer.
- Garnish with a cinnamon stick, pink peppercorns, and a lemon slice.

CHARACTER
Initial Impression (Lips and Tongue): The first thing you will sense is the sweetness of chocolate with a hint of salt on the glass rim. The salt will intensify all the flavours, while the chocolate prepares the palate for the richness of the drink. Core of the Cocktail (The Sip): The initial hit is recognizable: juicy, fruity, and deep notes with overtones of resinous and woody tones that come through the richness of juniper fill the palate. But all the elegance lies in the quick transition that follows. As the cocktail breaks through each sip, an unexpected twist occurs: the chocolate and mildly roasted structure of the porter beer cuts through the sweetness of the gin, bringing a rough, refreshing note. At the very end, as the final, surprising touch, a mild, citrus freshness of the Blue Curaçao liqueur remains, leaving a clean and elegant finish. Final Impression (Aroma): The aromas coming from the pink peppercorns, cinnamon, and lemon upgrade the drink. The cinnamon introduces a warm, spicy note, the pepper adds a mild piquancy, and the lemon provides a sharp, citrus scent that refreshes and perfectly blends with the orange note of the liqueur. This cocktail is definitely for those who love bold flavours and adventure.

Nepenthe Crimson

INGREDIENTS
– 50 ml Nihilej Nepenthe Gin
- 30 ml Freshly Squeezed Pomegranate Juice
- 20 ml Freshly Squeezed Lemon Juice
- 15 ml Blackberry and Rosemary Syrup (optional)

GARNISH
- A few fresh blackberries and rosemary sprigs for decoration
- 3–4 fresh blackberries (for muddling)
- Ice

TIP
Quick Tip: If you wish to retain the blackberry note without making syrup, you can add a small teaspoon of blackberry jam to the shaker. When shaken, the jam will dissolve, lending flavour and a slight richness to the cocktail. This version will have a rich, darker colour and a luscious taste that is simultaneously fruity, herbaceous, and
elegant.

PREPARATION
- Lightly muddle 3–4 fresh blackberries in the shaker.
- Add ice, Nihilej Nepenthe Gin, pomegranate juice, lemon juice, and (optional) blackberry and rosemary syrup.
- Shake vigorously for 15–20 seconds.
- Double strain the cocktail into a chilled coupe glass. If you wish to keep fruit pulp in the cocktail, use only the shaker's strainer.
- Garnish with fresh blackberries and a rosemary sprig.

CHARACTER
Due to the choice of ingredients, this cocktail is not only refreshing but also potent and layered. The first impression is the strong fruit tartness of pomegranate and the acidity of lemon, which is elegantly softened by the natural sweetness of the blackberries. In the background, the gin's herbaceous and citrus notes surface, intensifying the freshness and adding complexity.
The texture is velvety and full-bodied due to the muddled blackberries, and the colour is deep and rich, like a dark ruby. Every sip is balanced, refined, and full of character, making “Crimson Bloom” a perfect choice for those who appreciate cocktails with a story and depth.If you add the blackberry and rosemary syrup,the cocktail gains an extra dimension. Blackberries enhance the fruity sweetness and provide a subtle, earthy note, while rosemary introduces a refined, aromatic freshness that gives the cocktail an unexpected twist. Rosemary,with its pine-like aroma, acts as a perfect contrast to the fruit notes, bringing an earthy, aromatic freshness that makes the cocktail unique.

Laconic Ivory

Ingredients:
– 60 ml Nihilej Laconic Gin
- 20 ml Orgeat Syrup
- 20 ml White Grape Juice
- 20 ml Freshly Squeezed Lemon Juice

GARNISH
- Basil Leaf
- Grapefruit Peel

PREPARATION
- Place a chilled coupe glass (a low, wide cocktail glass) in the freezer to cool.
- In a shaker with ice, pour Nihilej Laconic Gin, Orgeat Syrup, white grape juice, and lemon juice.
- Shake vigorously for 15–20 seconds. The Orgeat, in combination with the lemon and white grape juice, will cloud the mix and give the cocktail a beautiful, pale colour.
- Strain the cocktail into the chilled glass.

CHARACTER
The harmonious balance of sweet and sour, with a slightly creamy texture, combined with the citrus and spicy notes released by the Laconic Gin, will make this cocktail elegant and extremely refreshing—ideal for those who enjoy drinks with a mild, creamy flavour. The result is an elegant and refreshing cocktail that will leave no one indifferent.

Laconic Fizz

INGREDIENTS
– 50 ml Nihilej Laconic Gin
- 30 ml Mango/Passion Fruit Purée (liqueur optional)
- 20 ml Freshly Squeezed Lime Juice
- 15 ml Thyme and Lemongrass Syrup (optional)
- 100–150 ml Soda Water (to fill the glass)

GARNISH
- A few cubes of fresh mango
- Garnish with mint leaves

PREPARATION
- In a highball glass, pour the mango purée, gin, lime juice, and syrup.
- Stir them with a long spoon until the purée is combined with the rest of the liquids (a shaker may also be used).
- Fill the glass to the top with ice.

CHARACTER
The sweet and rich, tropical fruit note of mango/passion fruit is at the forefront, resonating with the passionate, spice- and citrus-filled Nihilej Laconic Gin, immediately creating a sense of summer and the exotic. The lime juice provides the necessary acidity that prevents the drink from being overly sweet and lends it a refreshing sharpness.
If you decide to go a step further, the most interesting element is the thyme syrup. Its herbal, slightly earthy note blends perfectly with the thick, fruity base, giving the cocktail depth and a unique, aromatic finish. Unlike the usual fruity cocktails, this cocktail is complex and intriguing, not sweet. The aroma of thyme (thyme) separates it from standard tropical cocktails.
